The City of Fort Morgan is exploring the feasibility of a new indoor multi-purpose aquatics center adjacent to the existing Recreation Fieldhouse. The City and design team are gathering community input on what you want to see in this potential new facility. The original construction of the existing Riverside Pool began in 1947 and its current features are no longer physically maintainable, nor financially sustainable. A new facility with indoor pools would allow expanded, year-round aquatic recreation programming opportunities, providing improved health and wellness opportunities for all segments of the community. It would also attract visitors, and the improved quality of life can help attract new businesses and new residents.
