Survey Period 2 Summary

In this survey period 529 contributions were submitted from 302 individual contributors. This survey period included two ‘funding’ questions. These questions provide users with a fictional budget and allow them to allocate these funds to their preferences. Diving boards, water slides, and a climbing wall all funded highest amongst the list of amenities for the lap pool.

The recreational pool’s top ‘funded’ amenities include zero-depth (beach entry), kids wet play structure with fountains, geysers, bubblers, and fitness lap lanes.

Separately, a ‘quick poll’ was conducted on the home page that asked the following question: “How would you like the Community Pool to be funded? Note this only includes capital construction and not ongoing operations once constructed.” With this question outside of the questionnaire area and on the home page, 60 contributors preferred sales tax over property tax increases (81.67% sales tax, 18.33% property tax).
